Menu finally finished and animated.

Oh my god. So three attempts later and the main menu is finished, animated, sprited and in game. And may I just say that it looks amazing. If there were gaming menu awards, this would probably win at least three.

But suprise suprise, once again Stencyl has ruined my dream of making the highest quality game ever. Apparently 50 frames per second for a 1280x720 animation sprite is too amazing for it to handle. So close to beating Peter Jackson's the Hobbit for highest quality movie ever made.

Menu text finished and Interface rough design

Finished the text using the ethnocentric font and these effects, in case anyone wants to replicate,:

text font - 48px on 1000x500 image

inner glow - 100% opac, color: 57bbb5, choke - 0, size 4px

outer glow - 100% opac, color : 5a90bd, spread - 9%, size 5px

Also whipped up a mock up for the interface. Originally I was going to have the interface at the top of the screen however as the game is already more difficult when traveling in the y direction (due to the lack of space to see oncoming space) I moved it to the sides.
